From Event Planner to Your First Friend at Procore
Since I was a little girl I have always been good at bringing people together. Whether it was a birthday party or planning a fake summer camp with my friends, I have always found joy in connecting people and creating memorable experiences. That skill led me to study Communications in college, to become an event planner. I graduated and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where I started my career at Turner Broadcasting, first as a tour guide, and then as an event planner. I'm now an orientation specialist at Procore, where I continue to use my passion for creating memorable experiences, bringing people together, and connecting people to our company.
Current position
Connecting New Hires to Our Company and Our Industry
I like to describe my current role as our new hires' first friend at Procore. I help them build foundational knowledge about Procore and the construction industry, which helps them ramp faster in their roles and build long-term success at the company.
Main motivations
Creating Meaningful Impact for New Procorians
I love being the first person most Procorians meet and build a program that creates lasting and meaningful impact on new Procorians for years to come.
Top advice
The Importance of Leaning In
Lean in and connect. The more you lean in and are willing to connect with the company and its people, the better your experience will be.
Greatest achievement
Not Just an Onboarding Leader
I'm proud of many things about my career, but my proudest accomplishment to date is being a mom to my two beautiful children. They are honorary Procorians, who love to come to the Carpinteria office with me....to say hello to their many fans and get candy from the Carp office candy wall.
