Which positions are suitable for people in construction having limited IT experience and trying to make a switch.

That is a great question!

I actually came from retail into Procore back in 2016, and I can tell you that I did not have a ton of experience in tech at that time.

The role that I came into was Customer Support Representative, and I utilized my experience working with customers, diving into understanding their needs and researching the solutions to help solve their issue.

I did check them out but since I wasn't actively looking I didn't dig into each one as to what each position involves. I have been highly passionate about bridging the gap between IT and Construction and that's why I did my second masters in IT. I along with my teammates did a paper on Construction Management Apps in my final semester and since then I'm trying to find the best fit for my unique experience
