Hi John, one of Procore's values is Ownership, and everyone, including new hires, are encouraged to jump in right away and own their work, including improvements & optimizations. While specifics would depend on the team, we are all always looking for ways to increase overall operational efficiencies and processes, and I love when new hires come in with ideas for that!

My last boss jokingly called me a hacker because I can automate just about any task done by a person on a computer. Whether it was writing code to integrate 25 different accounting systems into our Medicare cost reports or automating month-end reporting, I’ve built solutions that streamlined complex processes. I also pick up new programming languages quickly—within a few hours, I can read and write in them. Given my skill set, where do you think I would be the best fit at Procore?

Love to hear it! Your best bet, John, is to take a look at our open role on careers.procore.com and review the qualifications for each. From there, consider your own skillset, as well as those skills that are transferable, and then tailor your resume to that specific role. It sounds like you have a unique skillset, so you are the best person to identify the best role that aligns with it. Best of luck!
