Additional information
Does Procore scan for key words or does a human actually short list the resumes?

Recruiting Lead
At Procore, we take a balanced approach to resume evaluation.
- Our applicant tracking system (ATS) helps organize and filter applications based on relevant keywords and criteria.
- Every resume is reviewed by a recruiter to ensure a thorough assessment.
- We look beyond just keywords, focusing on a candidate’s overall experience, skills, and alignment with the role and company culture.
This combination of technology and human review allows us to identify the best-fit candidates for our positions.

Thank you very much!
I am selling my construction company and have a great deal of experience in business to business sales, as well as software sales. Most importantly I have 4-5 years of experience as a Procore user. I have valuable knowledge that makes me excellent for sales. For example, one of the downfalls of Procore is not the product, but the fact that at the jobsite level there is a different level of computer skills and what ends up happening is people work around Procore because they think it's too tough to learn, but they don't really try. How do I convey that experience in a resume in a way that will get noticed?

Hi John,
Having experience using Procore is a great advantage when you apply! The best approach is to ensure that you are tailoring your resume to the role you are applying for. Pick out the key elements that are being asked for in the posting where you have direct experiences, skills and strengths and use those to build your resume. Should you be brought in for an interview, you can further expand on your experiences.
Hope that helps!
Melissa
