Hi! That's a great question - culture is super important!!

Overall, I have found the culture at Procore to be one of openness, autonomy, and collaboration. I feel empowered to talk to my manager about challenges, ask for help from teammates, and give a contrary opinion if necessary. While there are certain things that my manager can't tell me, they are as forthcoming as they can be. I receive feedback about my work throughout the year (not just during review periods) and they are responsive to any issues I may have. My teammates are always ready and willing to help, but also ready for a deep discussion on what we're working on. Everyone is open to hearing others' thoughts and modifying how we move forward based on what we're hearing.

Procore is also very understanding of 'life' - picking up your children during school hours, doctor appointments, vet visits, etc - I just add things to my calendar and make sure folks know if I'll be out for an extended period of time. Meetings can always be rescheduled if needed, or someone can cover. In addition, time off to get away from work is highly encouraged. We are growing fast, and a lot is going on, so time off is good not only for us but for Procore as well. Having time to reset and relax is essential.

Hope that helps, happy to give more specifics if you have more questions!
