Hi Robin! What part of your background helped your hire into Procore?
Additional information
I have applied to quite a few positions, and I am a HUGE Procore advocate. Looking to get in, and be at Procore the rest of my career. Any tips on getting an interview, or notes on what is noticed when resumes are reviewed? Thank you!!!

Hi Lisa,
That is a million dollar question! I had someone in my professional circle put my resume in front of the hiring managers at the time. I was lucky that I was able to lean into my network and learn more about the role and company to prepare for the interviews. I did also have to take a step back to take a step forward. I started out at Procore as a Sales Development Representative which is an entry level role and worked my way up from there.
My recommendation is to think of ways you can make yourself stand out. What can you do that takes you just that 1% over other applicants? Is it doing the Procore certs on the website? Is it preparing a 30, 60, 90 day plan on how you would ramp into the role and attaching it to your application? Is it getting letter of recommendations from previous employers? I have seen it all when filtering through applications.

Hi Robin! Thank you so much for the response. I love the answers. I will take this further and see what I can do. I know I would be a great asset to Procore. I just need to portray that so the Hiring Managers know it as well. ; ) Bound and determined!
