Here are the steps I would do as someone who is about to graduate.
1) Take a look at current job openings and find the one that speaks to you the most. Which one you are most interested in or which one you are looking to grow into.
2)If you have any job experience, take a look at the key skills you acquired in those roles that may apply to the roles you are interested in sales.
3) If you don't have any relevant job experience, you can still posses the skills they are looking for. Think to any projects you did, classes you took or any certifications you can possibly get relevant to the role.

From there, you will want to ensure you highlight the skills the role is looking for and that you have on your resume.

I also highly recommend searching some of the people who currently hold these roles on LinkedIn and try connecting with them for more direct advice on what their team may be looking for.
