Senior Technical Recruiter
Hi Steve,
Your construction management background and a computer science degree is a great fit for technology roles at Procore. You can excel in Software Engineering or Quality Assurance Engineering, leveraging your construction expertise to develop and ensure quality in construction-specific software. Roles like Product Management or Solutions Engineering, which require understanding both tech and construction, are also an ideal fit. The exact role will depend on your interests and experience.

Hello Ammar,
Thank you for your input. I hold an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in project management. Additionally, I possess a master's degree in IT, although my professional experience has been predominantly in the construction sector. Most of the roles I encounter are sales-oriented and appear to be company-specific or related to sales. I am interested in applying for positions in operations and product management, but these roles often require extensive technical experience. Could you please provide a list of specific roles that are not highly technical but would allow me to leverage my experience in both construction and IT for a successful transition?.
