Senior Recruiter

Hi Reicher, The skills that recruiters and hiring teams look for really depend on the role that the candidate is applying to. When you are changing industries and don't have the exact experiences that are being looked for, focusing strongly on your transferrable skills is a great tactic. Read through job postings and identify the key transferrable skills being asked for and reflect on your experiences to identify how you have them and how you have been able to use them well in your current and past roles. That will help the recruiter see the value that you can bring, regardless of not having the direct experience they are looking for. Hope that helps! Elizabeth
