Hi Al, I would like some advice on entering into a sales role and career. Could you give me some guidance on that?

Hey Mitchell, thanks for the question. Sales in my opinion is for folks who want to have their financial earnings a little more in their own hands. I love the fact that if I work incredibly hard I can be rewarded financially at a much faster rate than many other positions and departments.
Best advice I have is, choose a company that TEACHES and grows the skillset of sales, sell a product that you can get excited about and that really is a tremendous help for its users and educate yourself on the art of selling. My favorite sales/negotiations books are: Never Split the Difference, Fanatical Prospecting, The Lost Art of Closing and Challenger Sale.
