Is cross-functional work and communication encouraged? What methods are used to ensure departments work well together?

Hi there Rachel! Yes! It's very much encouraged for individuals to get to know members of other teams or departments. One of my favorite things Procore promotes are Get to Know You's (GTKY). Putting a 30 min zoom meeting together with someone you'd like to get to know more about their role or how y'all can work together is the norm and I think I do a couple of these a month. It's a great way for folks to truly explore the whole company.
